SUMMARY:Parenting Workshop: Coping with Teen Anxiety
DESCRIPTION:The focus of this workshop is to help parents understand teen anxiety\, and provide strategies that can be used to help them and their teen(s).\n\nAll teenagers experience anxiety at times\, as it is a normal reaction to stress. Sometimes it helps teens deal with tense or overwhelming situations. However\, for some teens\, anxiety can go beyond these typical symptoms to negatively affect friendships and family relationships\, participation in extracurricular activities\, and even their schoolwork.\n\nThis workshop focuses on anxiety in teens: understanding what it looks like\, and how to provide support. If you are a parent or guardian with a teen who struggles with anxiety\, this is a workshop for you.\nLearning outcomes:\nThe seminar is 2 hours. The participants will get an overview of what anxiety is\, and will be shown therapeutic techniques (Cognitive Restructuring) and practical strategies that will help them with their anxious teenager(s).\n\nBreathing and Grounding techniques to help reduce anxiety and panic attacks will also be demonstrated.\nPresented by: Robert Wise\nRobert Wise is a Professional & Personal Certified Coaching (PPCC). Robert has effectively employed a sure-fire blend of education\, work experience\, and an insatiable passion for success to become a phenomenon in the realm of self-help.\n\nRobert has founded the acclaimed RISE Anxiety & Depression Clinic\, putting viable\, drug-free life solutions at the fingertips of individuals\, couples\, and families.\n\nRobert is a sought-after speaker within the self-help circuit.
