DESCRIPTION:The Alumni Association of BHS is inviting you to celebrate 65 years since Beaconsfield High’s opening year 1958-59!\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT’S HAPPENING ON MAY 17\, 2024 \n\n\n\nUnable to organize a traditional all-year reunion event during the year 2023\, normally held quinquennially since 1983 to mark the BHS opening in 1958\, a small group of former students have arranged an alternativeCELEBRATION reception/party in cooperation with the BHS Home & School Association and the BHS administration headed by retiring Principal Rachel C. Wilson. \n\n\n\nOn Friday evening\, May 17th \, former students and staff with H&S volunteers will gather (6 pm – 11 pm) to meet and greet old friends and schoolmates\, tour today’s modern school facility\, hear topical speakers\, enjoy BHS student performances\, and chat with colleagues and classmates. While meals and other weekend activities will be organized by smaller groups\, off-site\, snacks and refreshments will be offered to up to 300 attendees at the 250 Beaurepaire Drive building (formerly 84 Beaconsfield Court). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday May 17th Schedule:\n\n\n\n\n6-7 pm A-200 level – Registration & classroom gatherings for decade groups (sixties\, seventies\, etc.)\n\n\n\n7-8 pm Library – Facility tours with BHS student guides; includes 1961-2023 Yearbooks displayed in the Library.\n\n\n\n8-9 pm Auditorium – Student performances (Improv\, etc) followed by Guest speakers\n\n\n\n9-10 pm A-Gym – Trivia contest “What Do You Remember about the Twentieth Century at BHS?” — a fundraiser for the Mark Bernotas Foundation\n\n\n\n7-11 pm A-Gym and A-level decade classrooms – To a musical background\, schoolmate and staff chatting\, sharing of May 18-19 off-site gathering plans\, contact information\, discussion of possible future reunion activities\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister below today to help us plan.
